Heritage Baptist Church 40th Anniversary
Heritage Baptist Church was founded on July 7, 1985 under Pastor Bernie Callahan. We had a wonderful celebration on 4th of July weekend last year with Evangelist John Ashley and Pastor Ron Hall with a brunch on Saturday and a brisket and pulled pork dinner on Sunday. It was a wonderful time for our church and a great landmark that we look to build upon in the years to come!
As we approach the end of 2026, we rejoice in what the Lord continues to do; despite it being the age of Laodicea. God is still on the throne and the God of the many miracles found in the scripture is still performing miracles today! It behooves us to “awake to righteousness” and to “not sleep, as do others”, which are traits characterized by the last days, throughout the Word of God.
Rather… we ought to get in church, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” - Hebrews 10:25
We ought also to continue as Paul admonished in 1 Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
Monthly Fellowship
Christian fellowship is more necessary than ever in the days we are living. Paul implores us to not be complicit with the spirit of the last days: “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” - Heb 10:25. Human beings unite together around food and so we have incorporated a lunch fellowship on the first Sunday of every month. Everyone enjoys food and there is something to be said about people gathering together around the table. People are happier and as we continue to see our church grow, there are more opportunities to get to know each other and grow in unity which is an absolute necessity in a church. We are excited to see what new families the Lord brings our way and to watch these fellowships grow bigger and bigger.
Ladies Bible Study
Please join the Heritage ladies as they pause and take time to study God’s Word, lift up prayers for each other and others in need, and encourage one another in a time of fellowship together for about an hour once a month. Please call to find out the days and times. Special Bible Study Teas are held in the Spring and at Christmastime.
Men’s Prayer Breakfast
Heritage has a men’s prayer breakfast that starts at our church at 10:00am on Saturdays. We meet for about an hour and then will go to a local restaurant for breakfast fellowship. Currently we are meeting about 4 times a year for this, if interested please reach out to find out the next meeting time.
